Department of Women and Children organizes workshop on challenges facing its administrations in the capital, Aden

The Department of Women and Children in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, on Sunday, organized, under the auspices of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, a workshop on "challenges and difficulties facing the work of women's and children's administrations in the capital, Aden, and its districts,".

At the opening of the workshop, Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, to all participants in the workshop.

Al-Jaadi stressed that southern women had an active role in the history of the south and the Arab world, and held the highest positions, and were pioneers in many fields, stressing the need to work on restoring the role of southern women to their previous and better status.

Al-Jaadi pointed out to the importance of this workshop to stand up to the difficulties and challenges facing southern women, hoping that this workshop will produce outputs and recommendations aimed at strengthening the role of women and restoring their leading role in society.

For her part, Dr. Najwa Fadl, Advisor to the President of the Southern Transitional Council for Women's Affairs, expressed her happiness for attending this workshop, stressing the importance of coordination between women's and children's departments in all the Council's bodies.

Ms. Yasmine Musaed, Deputy Head of the Women and Children Department, started the workshop by welcoming all participants, indicating that this workshop aims to overcome all difficulties facing women's administrations in the executive bodies in the Transitional Council local leadership in the capital, Aden and its districts.

Musaed indicated that the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council is striving to find solutions that facilitate the work of women's and children's departments in the various bodies and to enhance the role of southern women in their society, as one of its main pillars.

Musaed emphasized that this stage requires the cooperation of all to address the challenges faced by the administrations to reach the goals of the people of the south in liberation, independence and the restoration of the state of the South.

The workshop discussed a number of problems that led to the stumbling and confusion of work to a large extent in the administrations of women and children in the capital, Aden, and its districts, in which a number of proposals were developed to urgently address the causes of this issue.

At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants emphasized the importance of the content of the workshop, and expressed their thanks to the Southern Transitional Council for its adoption of this workshop, which will contribute to addressing many of the problems facing women and children departments in the capital, Aden.
