Presidency of the Transitional Council reviews results of fourth session of the National Assembly

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its periodic meeting on Thursday, headed by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.

In the meeting, which was attended by the ministers of the Transitional Council in the government, the Presidency reviewed the level of implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting and the steps taken in the field of services, specifically the electricity and water services.

The Presidency stood before the results of the work of the first day of the fourth session of the National Assembly of the Council, praising the important speech delivered by President Al-Zubaidi at the opening, which dealt with the most important issues related to the south, the Riyadh Agreement and the political and diplomatic movement to end the crisis, and identified the position of the Transitional Council regarding the most important developments at the domestic and foreign levels, including the issues of terrorism that the south and the southern armed forces are addressing for the sake of the security and stability of the south and the region, besides international navigation, and international peace and security.

The Presidency pointed out that the President's call for the leadership and members of the National Assembly to strengthen the oversight work on the Council's bodies and state institutions is of great importance in the course of the Assembly's work and the tasks it will undertake in the future.

The Presidency discussed issues related to the work of the Council's bodies, the performance of the Transitional Council's ministers in the government, and the activity of the Council's negotiating delegation located in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
