Dr. Al-Khobaji reviews the activities of the Southern Anti-Corruption Commission in Abyan
Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, met on Sunday, with Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Awaini, Chairman of the Southern Commission for Combating Corruption in Abyan Governorate, and his companions.
Dr. Al-Khobaji was briefed by the Chairman of the Commission on the activities of the Commission and what it has accomplished during the last period, especially in monitoring cases of corruption in all fields, and the coordination mechanism with human rights organizations working in this aspect.
The Acting President of the Council commended the self-efforts made by the Commission to combat corruption in Abyan Governorate, and uncovered hotbeds of administrative and financial corruption and rampant in state facilities in the governorate.
Dr. Al-Khobaji stressed that the activities of the Commission in Abyan Governorate are no less important than the activities of the rest of the institutions concerned with combating corruption in all governorates, stressing the need to intensify efforts in this regard, to ensure a safe future for generations.
