Press statement by the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council

The General Directorate of Foreign Affairs confirms that the press interview attributed to the President of the Southern Transitional Council, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces - may Allah protect him - is incorrect, and which the fabricated sources claim was published in the Egyptian newspaper, Al-Watan.

The General Directorate of Foreign Affairs also indicates the importance of obtaining news from the official authorities of the Council, and the need to ensure correctness of information before circulating it.
