Al-Khobaji meets with group of academics from the University of Aden

Dr. Nasser Al-Khobaji, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Acting President of the Council, Head of the Negotiations Affairs Unit, met on Monday, with a group of academics from the University of Aden.

In the meeting, which was attended by Eng. Adnan Al-Kaf and Mr. Lotfi Shatara, members of the Presidency of the Transitional Council, Al-Khobaji briefed the academics of the University of Aden on the efforts of the Southern Transitional Council and the progress of the negotiation process during the Jeddah-Riyadh dialogue, and the progress of the process before and after signing the Riyadh agreement, as well as the diplomatic track and the external moves that were the most recent of which is the official visit of the Council’s delegation headed by President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi to the Federal Republic of Russia, stressing that all these steps are part of the Council’s endeavors and efforts to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the people of the South and enable them to gain sovereignty over their lands and restore their independent state over their entire national lands within the pre-May 22, 1990 borders. .

Al-Khobaji praised the role that the academics of the University of Aden play in the academic and political aspects, and their enlightening role through the work papers and research studies that they provide in the courses, workshops, and scientific and political seminars, to link the generations to the cause of their homeland in the South, as well as their important role in the societal aspect and their endeavor to solve the problems that affect the community members through scientific and sustainable means.

Dr. Al-Khobaji emphasized that the Southern Transitional Council pays special attention to academic cadres, and always strives to accommodate many of them within the framework of its various bodies, believing in its leadership of the great value that the scientific aspect represents in the institutional work that the Council undertakes.

Al-Khobaji listened from the academics of the University of Aden to a brief explanation of the difficulties and obstacles facing the university in the academic aspects, and the proposals that the Transitional Council could contribute in to solve these difficulties, as Al-Khobaji confirmed that the Council will take these proposals seriously and will work to implement them according to what is available to it, and submit proposals to the 50\50 government to solve these issues according to its competence.
