The General Secretariat reviews developments of the political scene in the south

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held on Monday, its weekly periodic meeting chaired by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Deputy Secretary-General.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Secretary-General delivered congratulations to our people in the south on the new year, hoping that it would be a year of construction and successes, and a way to all development and a solution to service issues in the capital Aden and the southern governorates.

The meeting listened to a report on the political scene presented by the political department, in which it praised the formation of the power-sharing government between the south and the north, stressing that the new government must be strict in its treatment of all the corrupt, and manage its tasks during the next phase, which will be directed towards improving service performance in particular, and the development of treatments that can improve the economic situation in general.

The report touched on many of the current political issues on the southern arena and their implications for the general situation of citizens in the country, and the participants presented their observations and recommendations related to the issues included in the report.

The meeting discussed the performance report of the Protocol Department during the period (January - December 2020), its level of performance and its most important activities in the aforementioned period, and its most prominent achievements during that period.

The meeting reviewed the reports of the activities of the General Secretariat departments during the past week, and reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting.
