In presence of Council leaders.. The General Secretariat celebrates 57th anniversary of October 14 Revolution

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, and under the patronage of President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, celebrated on Wednesday, the 57th anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, by holding a speech, art, and heritage ceremony in the capital Aden under the slogan “Will - Independence – Sovereignty", and in the presence and participation of Major General Ahmed Saeed Bin Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, and Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, the Secretary General of the Presidency of the Council, the Governor of Aden the Capital.

 The ceremony was attended by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, the Assistant Secretary-General, and Lawyer Niran Sooki, Mr. Lotfi Shatara, Dr. Sohair Ali Ahmed, Brigadier General Nasser Al-Saadi, Dr. Abdel Nasser Al-Wali, members of the Presidency of the Council, and military and security commanders, and leaders and cadres of the Transitional Council in the General Secretariat, the National Assembly, and local leaderships, in addition to the media, civil society activists, and a large crowd of citizens.

 In the ceremony, Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik delivered a speech, conveying to the attendees the greetings of President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, and the Southern Negotiating Team accompanying him in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and their congratulations on this great occasion.

 Major General Bin Brik prayed for mercy to the martyrs of the October 14 Revolution, and all the martyrs of the South till this day, stressing that their pure souls that they sacrificed until they led us to victory, “are what gave us the opportunity today to live these happy moments to celebrate the 57th anniversary of the glorious October 14 revolution, stressing that our people are steadfast and stand as one man like an erupting volcano, and we will celebrate a second victory soon, Allah willing. "

 He added, "We want a homeland, and our leaders who are there in the negotiations and those here at home are struggling for independence and the homeland. We are a determined people and a persistent leadership, and we will continue to carry our weapons to defend this land and these people. We thank our steadfast negotiating team in Riyadh and we will not give up the right to self-determination and achieve independence for the south." and the south will come by its men and all its political components. "

Major General Bin Brik said: "I thank the coalition countries led by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its wise leadership, as well as the leadership of the United Arab Emirates, and we tell them that we are from them and they are from us."

In the ceremony a number of speeches were delivered one for the activists of the October 14 Revolution, and another for women, and the Southern Resistance. The ceremony witnessed several artistic and heritage paragraphs, in which children honored the leaders of the Council and the Governor of the capital Aden with wreaths of flowers, as well as artistic parts were presented, beside a number of national songs, and reciting poem.
