Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Braik, the Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, stressed that the council’s tasks for the coming period are important and great to assume responsibility with the level of dedication and loyalty to the cause of the people of the South.
This came during his participation on Wednesday, at the conclusion of the workshop "The tasks entrusted to the Transitional Council and the mechanisms of work in light of the Riyadh Agreement", which was established by the National Center for Studies and Development in the capital, Aden.
Major General Bin Brik expressed his happiness at being present in this workshop, which was held on the recommendation of the Presidency, and with the presence of heads of the National Assembly committees and the departments of the General Secretariat, stressing that the workshop axes are of importance for the developments in the Council's tasks during the coming period.
Major General Bin Brik stressed on the importance of the next stage, noting that it needs capabilities, awareness and responsibility towards the homeland and the people to achieve its hopes, calling for the workshops to intensify activities in what was circulated and discussed in this workshop, wishing success and benefit to the participants of what was stated in it.
The final day of the workshop witnessed the completion of the formed groups and the elaboration of their proposals related to the axes of each group, including the tasks before the bodies of the Transitional Council and the mechanisms of their work for the next stage in light of the Riyadh Agreement.
