Major General Ahmed Saeed bin Brik, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council, Chairman of the National Assembly, chaired on Sunday, the periodic meeting of the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, which was held with the participation of commanders of the southern military and security units.
At the beginning of the meeting, Major General Bin Brik conveyed the greetings of the President of the Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, President Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, to the individuals, officers and commanders of the Southern Security Forces and Security Forces on the fronts, praising their legendary steadfastness in the face of the enemies' plans and in light of the difficult circumstances in which they exercise their duties .
Major General Bin Brik affirmed that the leadership of the Council is making all efforts to expedite the treatment of the situation of the southern forces and in accordance with the consistency of the Council's principle in the struggle to achieve the aspirations of the people of the South identified in the delegation of the people of the South to their political leadership in the statement of Aden Historical Declaration.
The Presidency of the Council stood before the results of the work of the Council's negotiating team and its external meetings, developments and the military and security situations, as well as the victories achieved by our armed forces on various fronts, in addition to the efforts to face challenges to support the home front along with the political successes achieved abroad.
In its meeting, the Commission also discussed the tasks performed by the leaders of our armed and security forces in this exceptional phase, the level of implementation of the directives of the political leadership and the complementary work between the political, military, security, economic and service fields.
The Presidency directed the leaders of all military units with restraint and non-escalation, stressing that the leadership of the Council will work to address all problems and needs and in consultation with the higher political leadership in the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on security and stability, and support of peace and development efforts in a way that achieves directing capabilities available to stop Iranian expansion in the region and the fight against Brotherhood terrorism.
On the other hand, the military leadership expressed its permanent commitment to work in accordance with the directives of the supreme political and military leadership, represented by President Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces.
The commanders affirmed their commitment to the directives of the President, Commander Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, and their support for the negotiation process led by the Council, and their eagerness to provide all the necessary conditions for the success of its mission and to remain firm on the ground to defeat the enemies' orders that aim to undermine the achievements of the people of the South that are achieved with their sacrifices, and to thwart the siege plots with salaries and expenditures aimed at weakening and destabilizing the will of our valiant forces in all units, and the will of our people and its political leadership.
The meeting dealt with a number of other issues related to the economic, service and other conditions, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
