Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council holds its weekly meeting chaired by Lamlas

The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held, on Sunday, its periodic meeting, chaired by the Secretary General, Acting President of the Transitional Council, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas,.

The meeting previewed the developments in the southern scene, which were included in the monthly analytical report of the Decision-Support Center, including the military recruitment and mobilization operations carried out by Brotherhood elements in the Yemeni government that push towards military confrontation.

The meeting discussed the continuous violations of the Riyadh Agreement by the Yemeni government, which reached to take measures that violate the Agreement rather than its implementation, including all appointments in the local central state institutions in all governorates, and establishing new military and security formations after signing the agreement other than its terms.

The Presidency stood before the Muslim Brotherhood escalation in Hadramout Valley, Abyan, and Shabwa, as well as the assassinations and arrests of southern activists, and the use of terrorist organizations to implement its plans.

The Presidency warned against continuing to test the patience of the southern people with these practices and actions, calling on the Arab Coalition to intervene urgently to make the other party back away from these hostile practices that push the situation towards confrontation.

At the end of the meeting, the Presidency discussed the weekly periodic reports of the activities of the National Assembly, the General Secretariat, local leaderships in the governorates, and the Negotiations Affairs Unit of the Transitional Council, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
