Southern Transitional Council delegation meets Deputy of UN Envoy and his team
A delegation of the Southern Transitional Council, involved of member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Amr al-Beed, and Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Council, Mohamed Al-Ghaithi, met on Wednesday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, with Mr. Moeen Shreim, Deputy of Martin Griffiths the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Yemen, and his special team.
The delegation of the Southern Transitional Council affirmed the Transitional Council's support for the peace efforts led and sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the "Riyadh Agreement", as well as the efforts made by the United Nations through the office of its special envoy, which try to resume the political process and reach a comprehensive peace.
The meeting was attended by officials in the offices of the Southern Transitional Council's General Directorate of Foreign Affairs in the United Kingdom and the European Union, Mr. Adel Mutlaq, and Dr. Amira Augustin.
