Lamlas discusses with regional director of Zayed Foundation ways of humanitarian cooperation

The Secretary General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, met in his office in Aden on Monday, Mr. Fayez Ghaleb Al- Katheeri, Regional Director of Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Action.

In presence of Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Sokatri, the Assistant Secretary-General, the meeting discussed ways of cooperation in the humanitarian field between the Southern Transitional Council and Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation.

The Secretary General praised the role of Zayed Foundation in implementing many humanitarian projects in various governorates of the south, which undoubtedly contributed to solving many problems resulting from the poor general situation in the country due to the war for more than five years, and in lifting the suffering of citizens with their support and services projects.

Lamlas expressed gratitude and appreciation of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council to the United Arab Emirates, and to the leadership of Zayed Foundation for its outstanding humanitarian initiative of providing hundred electric wheelchairs to the war-wounded.

For his part, Al-Katheeri affirmed the Foundation’s progress in implementing the directives of the leadership of the United Arab Emirates in providing all aspects of support to the people, stressing its continued support to the southern citizen through its adoption of financing and implementation of many services and humanitarian projects.

Zayed Foundation and the Department of Martyrs and Injured in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council launch the process of distributing electric wheelchairs to dozens of war wounded.

The meeting was attended by Osama bin Brik, Head of the Martyrs and Injured Department of the General Secretariat.
