Major General Ben Brik inaugurates extraordinary meeting of National Assembly administrative body

The Chairman of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Said Ben Brik, inaugurated on Wednesday the extraordinary meeting of the administrative body of the National Assembly, which included the heads of the National Assembly committees and their deputies, and in the presence of members of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.

In the meeting, the Chairman of the National Assembly stressed on the importance of this meeting in these exceptional circumstances experienced by the South, and he said: "The this meeting comes to determine the relationship and the interaction committees with their communities in the provinces of the south, especially that the next phase will witness a broad activity that requires great and effective efforts with all southern community figures, parties, components and local authorities. "

The Chairman of the National Assembly praised the active role of the committees in Aden the capital, and in the governorates of Shabwa, Dhalea, Mahara, Sokatra, and the rest of the provinces of the South, and their interaction with the local leaderships and their communities and their adoption to the issues of their citizens in their governorates, despite the difficulties they face.

For his part, the Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, delivered a speech welcoming the administrative body of the National Assembly, and stressing on the importance of this meeting and what it will address in its agenda.

The Secretary-General said: "This meeting will greatly facilitate subjects related to the relationship between the National Assembly and the General Secretariat in which the work is integrated among all the bodies of the Transitional Council, that all aim to the best of the South and its cause.

Lamlas affirmed the support of any step that would push the national deeds forward with the momentum and popular base of the Transitional Council in all the provinces of the South.

After that, the meeting previewed its agenda then reviewed the general evaluation report of the National Assembly permanent committees.

The meeting discussed the plan and the executive mechanism to face the attempts to hold the sessions of the expired Yemeni Parliament in the South.

The meeting also discussed a number of issues related to southern society and the people's suffering due the practice of the legitimate government in creating services crises, and the appropriate solutions to deal with it.
