Secretary General of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas received on Wednesday at the council premises in Aden, two TV teams from Switzerland and Holland that came to Aden for conducting a number of TV broadcast interviews and programs.
At the outset of the meeting, Mr. Lamlas welcomed the TV teams and thanked them for carrying the burden of a long-distance trip to get to the capital of the South and to convey a true image that reflects reality as it is.
In his answer to the Swiss television question on the formation of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Lamlas said that the Council is a result of long-term accumulations of struggle led by the people of the South that made the Southern Transitional Council the representative of the southern cause.
The Secretary General made it clear that the world today is a small village and no one can hide realities, adding that the Transitional Council already exists on the ground, carrying the cause of people, homeland and identity.
Mr. Lamlas said that the statement of the Special Envoy for Yemen Martin Griffiths reinforced the vision of the Southern Transitional Council that the southern cause is the clue and peace can only made by listening to the southerners and to respect their aspirations.
