Member of the presidency and acting secretary-general of the Southern Transitional Council, Dr. Mona Awad Bashraheel, accompanied by Deputy Head of the Cultural Department, Yahya Anwar, visited on Wednesday the well-known theatre and television actor, Abdullah Sharaf (Abu al-Reesh) to get reassured on his health.
During the visit, Dr. Mona Bashraheel conveyed to him the greetings of the president of the Southern Transitional Council Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi and his best wishes for good health, affirming the particular attention given by the council to him and to all the creative persons in the South.
Dr. Mona Bashraheel highly valued the pioneering role of Abdullah Sharaf and his artistic and creative performances especially in the field of child culture, adding that his works will always be remembered by his people with great admiration.
It is worth mentioning that the visit is framed within the Council's attention, represented by its Cultural Department, to pioneers of cultural work who have been marginalized during the past period, to support their health and living conditions.
