Vice President of the of the Southern Transitional Council Sheikh Hani Ben Brik met in Aden today with representatives of the Special Envoy to Yemen.
The meeting discussed the situation in the South in particular and Yemen in general. They touched on a number of issues related to security, counter-terrorism and services.
Vice President of the STC praised the role of the United Nations and the Arab Coalition for their attention to the Southern cause, in light of challenges and tragic situations that still impact badly the on he Southern people specially on the brutal war.
Sheikh Hani Bin Brik confirmed that the STC's leadership will work to protect the security of the Arabian Peninsula and the region with all the Arab countries and to restore hope and fight against terrorism.
For her part, head of the STC's Human Rights Department, Lawyer Niran Souki handed the representatives of the UN Envoy's Office a notice of violations committed against the peaceful people of the South during the recent incident in the capital Aden.
The meeting was attended by the President of the National Assembly, Major General Ahmed Saeed Ben Brik and member of the STC Presidency, Lutfi Shattara.
