The Local Leadership of the STC in Hadhramout Console the People on the Passing Away of Al Shatiri

The local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in Hadramout issued a statement of condolences to the people of Hadramout ,the  South and the Islamic world for the departure of the great Hadhramy thinker  , the late Salim Bin Abdullah Bin Omar al-Shatri. The message read as follows

‘The local leadership  of the STC in Hadhramout has received ,with deep grief and profound sorrow , the news of the departure of our  beloved Salem bin Abdullah Bin Omar al-Shatri.

Therefore we pay tribute to his family , his students and the people of Hadramout and South for  this great loss. We consider his departure as a great loss , he was a scientific biographer whose life was  full of achievements in which he enriched the scientific Islamic thought  and with  his brilliant virtuous qualities which won  him a high position among his peers of today at the level of the whole Islamic world.

In Hadhramout he had a major role in introducing its curriculum and he propagated the moderate  Islamic school . Al –Shatiri’s knowledge enriched the  field of thought  where his students called him the Sultan of science .

May Allah bless him and may his soul rest in peace and inspire his family and his students patience and fortitude.'
