The STC Local Leadership of Ataq District Holds its Founding Meeting

  Under the auspices of His Excellency president Aidroos Qassim al-Zubaidi, president of the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, the local headquarter of the Southern Transitional Council of Ataq district in Shabwa governorate held on Monday 12 February 2018 its constitutive meeting.

  After reciting several verses from the Holy Quran, the head of the STC local leadership in the governorate, Sheikh Ali Mohsen al-Sulaimani pronounced a speech in which he reviewed the STC activities during the last period, stressing on the importance of unity for the South. He also warned of the tamper carried out by the current authority in Shabwa with services and its persistence in torturing citizens.

  The head of the STC local leadership in Ataq district Mehdi al-Khalifi stressed the need to familiarize themselves with the concerns and suffering of citizens and to act in accordance with the regulations of the Southern Transitional Council and its bylaws.

  The meeting formed the executive body and named the members of the local leadership in Ataq district.
