Chairman of the Foreign Relations department of the STC in America Reviews his Objectives and Courses

 Chairman of the Foreign Relations department of the STC office in the USA  Mr Abdulsalam Musa'd in a special statement, said that the  inaugurated the  foreign relations office and coordination bodies of the STC in the USA came within the preparations of the STC in establishing   the foundations of the STC.

Mr Abdulsalam who is visiting Aden at the moment  said, ' Following the inauguration of our departments in the USA we initiated the  preparation of plans and programs in order to commence work, we also  have certain approaches which we refer to in our work with the United Nations administration authorities  as well as in Canada and Latin America'.

He added, ‘Our office in America will manage and monitor the communication and political work including our representatives’ visits to Canada and Latin America. The STC’s coordinating bodies in the USA will work effectively with each other as we seek to increase much needed support for our cause.’

Mr Abdulsalam pointed that his aim to visit Aden is to liais with the STC presidium to discuss many rising issues concerning joint work inside the country and abroad, specially on the international area and the USA in particular. He said that his meeting with the president of the STC Aidros AlZubaidi and his deputy Shaikh Hani Ben Berek and members of the presidium including Nasser AlKhobaji , Amin Saleh and Lutfi Shatara and  members of the academic bodies at Aden University and a number of political and social figures is to form a complete picture of the situation in the country as well as  to consolidate the possibility of future relations between the Foreign Relations department at the STC and the STC’s  Presidency with the various  social  and scientific organizations in the South.

He assured that their work will consolidate the goals of the people if the south, which is to reclaim the independent sovereign  state on the bases of the pre 1990 unification boarders ,confirming that there will be numerous meeting and liaisons with the American authorities particularly the American congress and the foreign ministry and the decision makers .

He mentioned that it is within the foreign relations duties of  the STC to communicate with the permanent members of the UN Security Council , the United Nations, political and humanitarian organizations, aiming  to raise work to the next level.     

Chairman of the Foreign Relations Department of the STC in the USA Abdulsalam Mus'ad, pointed and praised the role played by the southern expatriates in America and the contributions they present as well as their firm stand  with the southern issue since 1994 by providing both high moral , financial and political support for families of martyrs and the wounded and  other  social services .
