The STC Plans for Holding its National Assembly Meeting

The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council held today its periodic meeting at the STC’s headquarters in Aden. The meeting was chaired by president of the council Aidros Al Zubaidy and vice president of the STC Sheikh Hani Ben Berek and Council members.

At the meeting they discussed a number of important issues including the special procedures for holding the National Assembly meeting in the capital Aden, the current month’s plans, the local leaders and the establishment of the transitional Council branches in the governorates and districts, the regulations put forward for the local leaders and discussed the reports presented by heads of a number of the council’s administrations in addition to the activities of those administrations .

The meeting also mentioned forming a special fund for caring for the welfare of the martyrs families and the injured. The meeting also touched on issues relating to the foreign relations department and to expand its work by forming foreign relations coordinating bodies in Europe, the USA, Russia and Egypt and create similar coordinating bodies in other countries.
