STC : We Will Support Sports in Hadhramout and the South

President of the Southern Transitional Council Aidros Al Zubaidi met today in Al Mukalla head of boards , managers, league representatives and referee committees from Hadhramout governorate today.

 During the meeting, Al Zubaidi promised that the STC will support  Hadhramout ,the coast and Valley sports clubs and will  facilitate all difficulties to enable them to participate within the Southern League sports football clubs, which the STC will sponsor during the coming period.Adding that the STC will not only set off with the football game, but will also be interested in activating all activities and sports such as volleyball, basketball, athletics, swimming, chess and other sports activities

He invited everyone to rally around the STC who is keen to support the  sport movement and value  the potential of the youth to protect them from exploitation and to avoid young people to be attracted by terrorist groups and engage in drugs. Al Zubaidi pointed to the attention that the Southern Transitional Council will give to youth and sports and athletes. He stressed the need for concerted efforts by all to rehabilitate sports in the south.Citing the establishment of the first sports club in the Arab Peninsula, ‘Al Tilal FC’ in Crater Aden in 1905 and the  booming sports movement in the South in the 1950s.

 On their part, leaderships and administrative bodies of sports federations and sports clubs and referees Committee and sports media in Hadramout expressed standing by the presidency of the Southern Transitional Council and their support for all the steps and moves to of the STC to restore  the southern state .
