The STC Meets Leaders and Representatives of the Southern Movement in Al Mahara

President of the Southern Transitional Council  Al-Zubaidi, this evening met a number of leaders and representatives of the southern movement ‘Hirak ’in Al Mahara.

The meeting which was attended by several members of the Transitional Council and deputy governor of Al Mahara  Saeed Saadan, emphasized  on the roles and efforts of the southern movement during the successive stages of the southern liberation  revolution aimed for independence and self determination

The STC president valued the struggles and sacrifices of southern movement in Al Mahara , and reviewed the efforts and preparations that preceded the formation of the Transitional Council under the  southern populist mandate, up to the present time and its roles and work to complete structuring  and forming the branches  and Council national assembly’s  in the  provinces and districts.

Adding that there is a national association and its advisory body which will work in an unbiased way to achieve the objectives sought by the people of the South and achieve their hopes and aspirations. Al Zubaidi promised to take into consideration the points put by leaders and representatives of  Al Mahara ‘Hirak’ into account  and to take advantage of its positives in correcting any irregularities which could be standing  in the way and to continue establishing the branches of the STC in all governorates.
