President of Southern Transitional Council Inaugurates its Headquarters in Shabwa and Visits the Memorial Hall

President of the Southern Transitional Council and his accompanying members of the presidency, Ahmad lamlas ,Nasser Al Saedi, Salem Al Suqotri and the council’s spokesman Salem Al Awlaqi, this morning had a tour around  Attaq the Capital of Shabwa governorate . During their tour they visited the headquarters of the STC there and the Memorial hall in which they inspected the list of the martyrs of Shabwa .

On their way to the headquarters, the procession of the presidency of the council , was welcomed by rows of the public who lined Darham High Street the main streets in and around the capital .   

The inaugurating of the STC’s headquarters  in Shabwa governorate comes within the framework of the duties of the council in forming the national assembly  in the governorate which will start today.

Following the inaugural ceremony major general Al Zubaidy praised the continuous role played by the people of Shabwa and their  great sacrifices. He assured the people there that the STC will continue its work on the route ,of that ,which was paved by the martyrs who gave their lives generously and by the sufferings of the wounded.

 Promising that we will continue until,“We free the south and gain our independent state”.

President of the STC Al Zubaidy Called on the people of Shabwa to continue their struggles and challenge the enemies until they achieve great victory, to restore a free state based on equality and justice according to the aspirations and hopes of the southern people.
