Large Crowds from Abyan and Shabwa Join Open-Ended Sit-In in the Capital Aden

The open-ended sit-in square in the Khormaksar district of the capital, Aden, witnessed on Thursday the arrival of large crowds from the governorates of Abyan and Shabwa and the districts of Seera and At-Tawahi as part of the continued popular participation into its twelfth consecutive day of sustained popular participation in support of the sit-in's demands and its declared goals.

Participants from Abyan and Shabwa expressed their full support for the open-ended sit-in, their backing of the goals and demands being raised, and their commitment to the choice of restoring the fully sovereign state of South Arabia, and reaffirmed that their presence reinforces the cohesiveness of the Southern rank and the coalescing of the people of the Southern governorates around their just cause.

The open-ended sit-in square was filled with national chants and slogans expressing a resolute popular will. They firmly reiterated that the restoration of the independent Federal State of South Arabia represents an irreversible, unifying popular demand and a true embodiment of the Southern street's aspirations for freedom, sovereignty, and building their independent state.

The participating masses confirmed the continuation of the open sit-in and their adherence to the choice of restoring the state of South Arabia and the right to self-determination as a legitimate right underpinned by international covenants and laws and a natural outcome of a long struggle and immense sacrifices made by the Southerners over various stages.

The influx from Abyan and Shabwa comes as part of the ongoing popular presence at the open-ended sit-in square in Khormaksar, reflecting the broadening of public participation and the sustained momentum backing the sit-in’s national goals.
