STC Al-Soum Launches Food Basket Distribution for Vulnerable Families

The local leadership executive body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), in Al-Soum district, Hadhramaut governorate, launched on Thursday the process of distributing food baskets provided by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the STC President, to the vulnerable families in the district.

The distribution process was carried out according to a well-organised mechanism and pre-prepared lists, under the supervision of organising committees and field teams, ensuring aid reaches its well-deserved beneficiaries smoothly and accurately across various neighbourhoods of the district.

The head of the STC executive body in Al-Soum, Radi Bahumaish, confirmed that the distribution process will extend to cover all areas of the district in the coming days to reach the widest possible segment of needy families.

The beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude to President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi and the district's Transitional Council for this humanitarian support, which addresses their needs and has helped alleviate their living burdens.

This step comes within the efforts exerted by the STC to alleviate the suffering of citizens and promote the values of social solidarity amidst the difficult economic conditions experienced by families in the districts of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert.
