STC Seiyun Launches Food Basket Distribution for Vulnerable Families

The Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) in Seiyun District, Hadramaut Governorate, launched on Wednesday the distribution of food baskets that was provided by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the STC President, for the vulnerable families.

The distribution was carried out according to a well-organised mechanism and pre-prepared lists, under the supervision of specialised teams, to ensure the aid reaches those who well deserve it across various neighbourhoods of the district, in an atmosphere of discipline and organisation.

Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for this humanitarian initiative, stating that it reflects the Southern leadership's concern for the conditions of citizens and its commitment to supporting poor and vulnerable families.

This step comes as part of the humanitarian and social efforts to which the STC attaches great importance, aiming to alleviate the suffering of citizens and strengthen the values of social solidarity amid difficult living conditions.
