The Assistant Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) for the Affairs of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert Districts held a public mass festival and artistic ceremony on Wednesday to celebrate the success of the "Promising Future" operation, which liberated the Valley and Desert from elements of the First Military Region forces, under the patronage of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the STC President.

Mr. Fadi Ba'oum, a member of the STC Presidium, confirmed that the achieved victories represent a pivotal historic milestone in the path to restoring the state, establishing security and stability, and ending the presence of groups operating outside the system and the law. He praised the resilience and bravery of the heroes of the Southern Armed Forces and the epic feats of heroism they demonstrated in confronting terrorism, reiterating that these sacrifices will remain a source of pride and honour for all the people of the South.

For his part, Mr. Mohammad Batis, Acting Head of the Hadhramaut Transitional Council, noted that these victories are the natural result of the cohesiveness among the people, their armed forces, and their political leadership. He affirmed that the governorate has been and will remain a cradle of the struggle of the South and that the coming phase will witness increased efforts to strengthen security, improve public services, and drive the wheel of development to meet the aspirations of citizens.

Meanwhile, Mr. Mohammad Abdulmalik Al-Zubaidi, head of the Assistant LLEB for the Affairs of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, expressed his profound pride in this major victory after long years of patience, suffering, and pain. He stressed that the security and stability the governorate enjoys today are the fruits of those ultimate sacrifices and that the coming phase will witness further consolidation of stability and the protection of the gains of victory.

The festival, attended by a number of local leaders, members of the National Assembly, advisors, large crowds of citizens, and the women's sector, featured nationalistic artistic segments with the participation of a selection of prominent artists from Hadhramaut Governorate, in which performances expressed overwhelming public joy over this victory, amid wide public popular engagement and chants glorifying the sacrifices of the heroes and reaffirming the cohesiveness of the Southern ranks.
