In 30 November Million-Person Rally Event,

Massive Public Rally in Seiyun Affirms Adherence to Liberating Hadhramaut Valley on Path to Restoring South Arabia State (Statement)

The city of Seiyun, the urban center of Hadhramaut's Valley and Desert, witnessed a massive public gathering from across the governorate's districts to participate in the million-person rally commemorating the 58th anniversary of the South Arabia National Independence Day on 30 November, 1967, and at the conclusion of the event, the following statement was issued by the 30 November Million-Man March in Seiyun:

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,

All praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most noble of the prophets and messengers.

O masses of our great Southern people...

Here you are today, gathering from all the cities and villages of Hadhramaut here in Seiyun to mark the 58th anniversary of the first National Independence Day on 30 November 1967—the anniversary of deliverance from colonialism and the dawn of freedom, dignity, and liberation.

This immortal occasion is a milestone that reflects the collective will of the South Arabia people, their authenticity, and their adherence to their historic right, generation after generation, having sacrificed the precious and valuable for their freedom, sovereignty, and dignity.

This anniversary comes as our people are waging a decisive battle in a delicate and sensitive phase, epitomizing the epic of steadfastness and resistance against all attempts to reproduce occupation through new means and different tools. The sacrifices of our people from 1994 until today have resulted in the liberation of most of the South's territories and the building of Southern defense and security institutions capable of protecting the land and sovereignty, strengthening political will both at home and abroad, and consolidating the presence of the cause of South Arabia on the table of international decision-making.

These hard-won achievements would not have been realized without the cohesiveness of the people with their political leadership in the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and their belief that today's battle is a natural extension of the first liberation struggle that ended with the declaration of the State of the South on 30 November 1967.

Today, a national and historical responsibility is confirmed before us, obliging all Southerners to work in a spirit of partnership, openness, and consensus, and to establish the values of dialogue, reconciliation, tolerance, and equal citizenship as the pillars upon which our desired federal state of South Arabia will be built.

Our people draw from the legacy of the first independence their firm resolve and free will to continue the struggle until the restoration of their fully sovereign state, with its internationally recognized borders until 1990. This is a final national decision that does not accept retreat, bargaining, ambiguous solutions, or diminishment of the political, historical, and legal right of the people of South Arabia.

Hence, from this city of Seiyun, the assembled masses declare the following:

1. The restoration of the state of South Arabia is not an emergent political demand but a national identity, a legal right, a popular will, and a natural extension of the 30 November 1967 independence. It is a cause not subject to bargaining, half-measures, or diminished solutions that do not meet our people's right to restore and build their independent, fully sovereign federal state within its known historical borders.

2. The people of the South affirm that their land is an environment that repels terrorism and extremism and incubates the values of security, stability, and civil peace. They reiterate their commitment to dialogue and negotiation as a civilized choice for resolving differences, while reserving the inherent right to self-defence for their land and cause—a legitimate right recognized by divine laws and international legislation.

3. The masses in Seiyun affirm their unlimited support for the Hadhrami Elite Forces (HEF) and the Southern Armed Forces. They stress the importance of meeting the demands of the people of Hadhramaut for the withdrawal of Northern forces, enabling them to manage their governorate's affairs, restoring security and military decision-making, and ending the existing security vacuum and imbalances.

4. We call on the United Nations, the Security Council, and the international Quartet to respect the will of the Southern people and deal with their national cause with a responsibility commensurate with its importance as a pivotal issue—a fundamental key to stability in the region, which cannot be achieved without placing the cause of South Arabia at the forefront of top priorities of any forthcoming peace process.

5. The assembled masses salute the dedication of the Southern Armed Forces in combating terrorism, confronting the terrorist Houthi militias, and maintaining security and stability across the governorates of South Arabia. They affirm that the current regional situation, amid increasing threats to international security and peace on land and sea, requires supporting and empowering the Southern Armed Forces and achieving effective international cooperation in combating terrorism and cross-border threats.

6. Given the deteriorating economic situation, which has reached unbearable levels, the demonstrators demand the urgent allocation of revenues from natural resources to meet the priorities of the people of the South, particularly the specific needs of the concession areas like Hadhramaut, in providing basic public services, salaries, addressing unemployment, reactivating service institutions, and adopting sustainable economic plans that ensure a dignified life for the citizen.

7. The South Arabia people express their highest gratitude and appreciation for the sincere, brotherly stances embodied by our brothers in the Arab Coalition countries, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), for their positions and roles alongside us in facing Houthi aggressions, combating terrorism, and protecting the stability of the South and the region. This Arab heroic epic has been mingled with the blood of the blessed martyrs from the sons of the South and the brotherly Arab Coalition countries. The UAE Martyr's Day, which coincides with this day of ours, embodies the ultimate meanings of altruism and sacrifice, which our people have not and will not forget, and which will remain a solid foundation for strengthening the bonds of fraternity, affection, and strategic partnership.

8. The assembled masses in Seiyun renew their full mandate to His Excellency President Aidarous bin Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the STC President and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, to lead our people, mobilize national efforts and capabilities, complete the achievement of the South Arabia people's goals, and represent them in the regional and international political process, leading to liberation, independence, and the rebuilding of the independent State of South Arabia. The masses affirm that they steadfastly stand united behind their national leadership until the full, undiminished Southern national goal is achieved.

In conclusion, we renew our covenant to our blessed martyrs who gave their precious lives for  South Arabia since the 14 October 1963 Revolution, through all the epics of our heroes from Hadhramaut and all other cities and countryside of South Arabia across various stages of the Southern revolution until today. They are the light that illuminates our path and the example from which we draw patience and steadfastness. We affirm that we will complete the journey, achieve the goal, and restore the free, fully sovereign state of South Arabia.

We affirm that 30 November was not merely the end of a colonial era but the beginning of an unbreakable, creative Southern spirit. Today, the people of the South are rewriting their history anew with the spirit of 30 November, confirming to the entire world that their will is stronger than all attempts to tear their social fabric, diminish their cause, and undermine their national liberation project, and that their second independence is imminent, Allah willing.

We pray to Allah, the Almighty, to preserve South Arabia and its people and to guide its leadership and people to all that is good, secure, and stable.

And Allah grants success.
