The Political Body in the General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting for the month of October on Sunday, chaired by Mr. Anis Al-Sharafi, the head of the body.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al-Sharafi provided a comprehensive briefing on the latest developments on the national political scene, focusing on the most significant positions related to the STC's efforts on various dossiers.
Al-Sharafi highlighted the importance of dialogue and instilling the STC's principles across all segments of Southern society, thereby strengthening the spirit of national partnership and contributing to unifying the Southern ranks behind its national project.
The meeting discussed the severe economic and service crises affecting citizens in the governorates of the South, foremost among them the deteriorating living conditions and the accompanying challenges impacting people's daily lives.
The meeting also touched upon the Transitional Council's ongoing efforts in economic reforms, reaffirming that these efforts would help strengthen the status and stability of the capital, Aden, and support its institutions in performing their duties optimally.
At the end of the meeting, the body issued several decisions aimed at enhancing political work in the coming phase.
