The Secretariat General of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) has reviewed the ongoing preparations for holding the massive public events commemorating the 62nd anniversary of the glorious October 14 Revolution, which is scheduled to take place in the Hadramaut and Al-Dhale'a governorates, following the call issued by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the STC President.
This came during its regular meeting held today, Tuesday, at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Abdul Rahman Jalal Shaher Al-Subaihi, a member of the STC Presidium and Secretary-General of the Secretariat General, who called upon the masses of the people of the South to actively participate in this momentous national occasion.
Furthermore, the meeting discussed the economic landscape for the month of September, submitted by the Economic and Service Authority, which included indicators of the improvement in the local currency's exchange rate during the past period, alongside the delay in the disbursement of employee salaries and the grant provided by the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to support economic stability.
Mr. Mohammed Al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary-General for Governorate Affairs, presented a report on the work of the Presidential Guidance and Monitoring Teams in the governorates of the South, which included follow-up on organizational activities for society events and field meetings that reflect the active role of the Transitional Council in the South.
The meeting also reviewed a report on the activities of the Secretariat's bodies during the past week, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
