STC Secretary-General Conducts Inspection Visit to Aboud Military Hospital in the Capital Aden

Mr. Abdul Rahman Jalal Shaher Al-Subaihi, a member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat, conducted on Wednesday a visit to the Aboud Military Hospital in the capital, Aden.

During the visit, accompanied by Mukhtar Al-Yafa'y, Head of the Social Affairs Authority in the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General toured the dialysis unit, the new emergency section, outpatient clinics, and medicine facilities. He was briefed by the head of the Medical Services Department, Dr. Aref Al-Da'ari, on the modern equipment in the newly established sections funded by the Transitional Council, foremost among them the emergency complex, which includes a general emergency department, operating rooms, and an intensive care unit.

Mr. Al-Subaihi praised the significant efforts made by Brig. Gen. Dr. Aref Al-Da'ari, the hospital administration, led by Dr. Rania Alawi Farhan, as well as the medical and nursing staff, in advancing the reality of medical services. He appreciated the vital role they perform in providing full healthcare to wounded soldiers and military patients.

The Secretary-General affirmed that the STC's leadership attaches high importance to the military medical sector and is working to develop its infrastructure and qualify its human resources to ensure the provision of quality health services to members of the services.

During the visit, the secretary-general checked on the conditions of the wounded patients receiving treatment in the hospital and highly lauded their heroism and the immense sacrifices they have been making in defense of the Southern homeland and its dignity and in confronting the Houthi militia and terrorist organizations, wishing them a speedy recovery and continued constant good health.
