The STC Secretary General Reviews Preparations for 62nd Anniversary of Glorious 14 October Revolution

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting for September on Tuesday at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Abdulrahman Jalal Al-Subaihi, a member of the STC Presidium and Secretary General of the General Secretariat.

The meeting reviewed the latest developments on the Southern landscape, foremost among them the ongoing preparations to commemorate the 62nd anniversary of the glorious 14 October Revolution, including events planned to be held in the Hadramaut and Al-Dhale'a governorates, in accordance with the directives of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi.

During the meeting, Mr. Mohammed Al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary General for Governorate Affairs and University Coordination Bodies, provided a comprehensive briefing on the key activities and programs implemented by the Presidential Guidance and Monitoring Teams in the governorates of the South over the past period, related to enhancing the STC's fieldwork in line with the requirements of the current phase.

The meeting also discussed the report on the level of work discipline within the Secretariat's bodies for the current month, submitted by the Financial and Administrative Body. In this context, certain measures were reviewed to raise the level of performance, improve workflow, and enhance operational efficiency.

Furthermore, the meeting touched on the activity report of the Secretariat's bodies for the second week of September 2025, submitted by the Planning, Organization, and Capacity Development Body, in addition to the minutes of the previous meeting, which were approved, incorporating the raised observations and remarks.
