The STC Secretary General Discusses Prospects for Enhancing Joint Cooperation with Head of Geneva Call Program

Mr. Abdulrahman Jalal Shaher Al-Subaihi, member of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Secretary General of the General Secretariat, met on Tuesday with Mr. Daud Hirmoge, head of the Geneva Call program in Yemen.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Secretary General welcomed Mr. Hirmoge, praising their efforts and role in disseminating the principles of international humanitarian law.

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation and enhancing joint work during the upcoming phase. In this regard, the secretary-general reiterated the transitional council's readiness to overcome difficulties and facilitate their mission in implementing its future programs.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Hirmoge expressed his thanks to the leadership of the Transitional Council for the warm reception and positive cooperation, affirming the Geneva Call's keenness to continue its activities and enhance its partnership with relevant entities, including promoting awareness of international humanitarian law and implementing interventions aimed at capacity building and raising awareness of the concepts of this law.

The meeting was attended by Eng. Nizar Haitham, Deputy Secretary General; Brigadier General Ahmed Hassan Al-Marhabi, Head of the Security Department in the STC; and Mr. Anis Al-Sharafi, Head of the Political Body.
