Al-Muharrami Receives UAE Ambassador and Lauds Unwavering Support Provided Across All Sectors

Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Muharrami, Deputy President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met on Thursday at Al-Maashiq Palace in the capital, Aden, with His Excellency Mohammed Hamad Al Zaabi, the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to our country, and his accompanying delegation, to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, joint cooperation, and development support.

During the meeting, Mr. Al-Muharrami expressed the gratitude and appreciation of the PLC for the UAE’s unwavering support across different sectors, highlighting recent Emirati-backed projects, including the newly inaugurated solar power station in Shabwa and the laying of the foundation stone for launching the second phase of the solarplant project in the capital, Aden.

Al-Muharrami affirmed that the UAE-funded development and service projects serve as a fundamental catalyst for promoting stability and meeting the basic needs of the people during this critical phase. He described these efforts as a reflection of the deep fraternal relations and strong historic bonds between the two brotherly peoples.

The UAE has embodied through "pure blood, ultimate sacrifices, and public service projects in our country the depth of the relationship between the two brotherly peoples," Al-Muharrami stated.

For his part, the Emirati ambassador reiterated the UAE's steadfast position in supporting our country and its readiness to continue providing required assistance in vital sectors and improving basic public services to contribute to enhancing stability and fostering sustainable development.
