The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting in the capital, Aden, on Tuesday, chaired by Eng. Nizar Haitham, the Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.
During the session, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shaqi, the Assistant Secretary-General for Governorate Affairs and University Coordination Bodies, provided a briefing on the performance of the presidential guidance and monitoring teams, as well as local authorities across the governorates, outlining the latest developments and key updates regarding the teams' activities and operational progress on various aspects.
Furthermore, the meeting also reviewed a report on the political landscape of the South, submitted by the political authority, which detailed the diplomatic movements of the STC's political leadership, led by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, and highlighted significant domestic and international developments.
At the end of the meeting, they discussed the recent developments across different aspects, with a focus on the severe climate change, including flash floods triggered by heavy rains that have battered the capital, Aden, and other governorates of the South, resulting in significant damage and a tragic loss of life and property across numerous areas.
