Presidential Guidance and Monitoring Team Holds Meeting with STC Executive Body of the Capital, Aden

The Presidential Guidance and Monitoring Team for the capital Aden, chaired by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Chairman of the National Assembly, and Head of the Team, held a meeting today, Thursday, with the Local Leadership Executive Body (LLEB) of the STC in the capital.  

At the beginning of the meeting, attended by Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, Member of the STC Presidium and Head of the LLEB in the capital, Aden, Mr. Al-Kathiri welcomed all attendees, praising the significant role performed by the LLEBs of the Transitional Council in the capital and the efforts made by administration directors in previous periods, emphasizing that Aden is the heart of the South and the source of its strength, noting that the stronger and more stable Aden is, the more stable the South becomes.  

During the meeting, the Presidential Team provided a detailed explanation of its work plan in the capital,  Aden, including its tasks, operational mechanism, and the nature of the measures it will undertake to monitor the performance of administrative and organizational bodies to track the implementation of activities and programs in line with the strategic frameworks prepared by the General Secretariat of the Council’s Presidium.  

The Team reaffirmed that it will work to crystallize all final evaluations observed during the inspection field visits, leading to fundamental improvements in the work of the bodies, enhancing cohesiveness among LLEBs, identifying difficulties and challenges, and contributing to the development of tangible initiatives that address issues and alleviate the suffering of citizens.  

The Team also stressed the importance of enhancing collaboration and joint coordination among various staff of the LLEB in the capital to ensure the success of the field visit program and the achievement of its objectives, stressing that the current phase requires cohesiveness and a team spirit among all.  

For his part, Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf welcomed the Guidance and Monitoring Team, praising the political leadership of the STC for launching the field visit program, and highlighted its importance in providing political guidance, monitoring executive performance, and evaluating issues related to citizens' needs while directly addressing their concerns. This, he noted, would contribute to developing solutions and measures aimed at alleviating their suffering under current circumstances.  

The meeting also touched on a range of issues and topics related to citizens, including interventions that highlighted the necessity of unifying and intensifying efforts to confront challenges targeting the South in all its components and segments.
