The STC Completes Receiving and Handing Over of Secretariat and Its Bodies to Newly Appointed Leadership

In a formal handover event held on Sunday, Acting Secretary General Major General Kamal Hamshari officially transferred his responsibilities to Secretary General Abdulrahman Shahir at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), under the supervision of Ali Abdullah Al‑Kathiri, Chairman of the STC’s National Assembly, and it was conducted in line with President Al-Zubaidi's directives and marks a further step in advancing the Council’s restructural reform and developing its organizational performance.

Subsequently, the handover event for the General Secretariat, the auxiliary bodies assisting the STC Presidency, and the General Secretariat departments took place under the supervision of a committee from the General Secretariat, in accordance with the approved organizational standards.

During the handover process, formal recognition was expressed for the efforts exerted over the past period by the leaders of the previous bodies, which contributed to establishing the foundations of institutional work and developing the organizational performance of the STC.

Finally, the Secretary General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the STC, Mr. Abdulrahman Shaher, expressed his best hopes for success to the newly appointed heads, affirming the full support of the Council's leadership, led by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, for all efforts aimed at strengthening the Council's proactive presence and activating its role at various levels, in line with the evolving demands of the phase.
