Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council and member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met with Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman, commander of the Joint Forces Command (JFC), during his visit today, Sunday, to the headquarters of the JFC in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
During the meeting, the latest military and security developments in the country were discussed, along with ways to strengthen joint coordination mechanisms, as Major General Al-Bahsani placed a high importance on bolstering the capabilities of our armed forces to confront current challenges, maintaining security and stability, and combating terrorist acts that threaten regional security.
Major General Al-Bahsani praised the pivotal role of the Arab coalition forces led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in supporting our forces to enhance their efforts in establishing the fundamentals of security and stability and highlighted the crucial support that reflects the deep-rooted fraternal relations with the coalition countries and their shared commitment to the security and stability of the region.
For his part, Lieutenant General Fahd reiterated the commitment of the JFC to providing continued support to the armed forces and jointly ensuring the realization of strategic goals.
