Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, met today, Monday, in his office, with Dr. Mohammed Saeed Al-Zou'ari, Minister of Social Affairs and Labour (SAL).
Mr. Al-Kathiri was briefed by Minister Al-Zou'ari on the workflow within the ministry, the stepping up efforts it is exerting to develop work in its offices in the capital, Aden, and all governorates of the South, and the myriad challenges and obstacles that might hinder its work.
During the meeting, Mr. Al-Kathiri highlighted the need to redouble efforts, particularly in terms of the well-regulated work of international organizations. stressing the importance of providing all required facilities to enable these organizations to carry out their humanitarian, relief, and development activities in the capital, Aden, and the governorates of the South, in accordance with the law and in the best interests of citizens.
The Acting President of the STC emphasized the crucial role of the Ministry in coordinating efforts between international organizations and local civil society institutions, monitoring their performance, overseeing the licenses granted to them, and scrutinizing the workshops and meetings they hold in the capital, Aden, and other governorates of the South.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Al-Zou'ari expressed his sincere gratitude for the unwavering support provided to his ministry by the leadership of the STC, led by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Vice Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), praising the STC's tireless efforts and commitment in addressing current challenges, finding solutions to economic problems, and improving the living conditions of citizens.
