STC Secretariat Discusses Challenges Facing Education in governorates of the South

 

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.

The meeting, which was attended by Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Shaqqi, Assistant Secretary-General, the Secretariat focused on the most significant challenges facing the educational process in the governorates of the South, stressed the need for relevant authorities to find solutions to these difficulties, monitor the curricula, and develop it to contribute to the advancement of education and training.

The meeting discussed a draft organizational work plan of the Secretariat for the fourth quarter of this year, as submitted by the Organizational Department.

Furthermore, the meeting reviewed a report on the level of staff work discipline within the Secretariat during the first week of September, presented by the Financial and Administrative Department. Additionally, a report on the activities of the Secretariat's departments and their accomplishments in their various areas of jurisdiction over the past week was discussed.
