The Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held a special meeting today, Wednesday, in the capital, Aden, to discuss the performance of the Local Leadership Executive Bodies (LLEBs) of the STC in the governorates of the South and Coordination Bodies (CBs) at universities headed by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Hamshari conveyed his congratulations and the congratulations of departments of the Secretariat to Mr. Mohammad Ahmed Haidara Al-Shaqqi for gaining the confidence of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi by appointing him as Assistant Secretary-General for Governorate Affairs and Coordination Bodies at Universities, wishing him all success in his duties.
The meeting reviewed the organizational performance of the LLEBs of the STC in the governorates of the South and the coordination bodies at universities, with a focus on mechanisms and strategies to bolster the STC's grassroots activities across governorates of the South.
In this context, the meeting approved a number of appropriate measures that enhance executing organizational tasks in an efficient and urgent manner, which would contribute to strengthening field work more closely to meet the needs and expectations of citizens.
At the end of the meeting, the Acting Secretary-General stressed the importance of exerting more efforts and following up on the work of LLEBs and CBs and their executive management in a way that contributes to achieving the visions and goals of the STC in serving the cause of the South.
