The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regular meeting today, Sunday, in the capital, Aden, chaired by Major General Kamal Hamshari, a member of the Presidium of the STC and Acting Secretary-General.
The meeting discussed a report on the political landscape in the southern national arena during the first half of July. The report studied a range of internal and external issues, emphasizing the urgency of extinguishing the flames of discord that certain parties opposing the South are attempting to ignite and strengthening security and stability in all southern governorates of the South.
The meeting also touched on a report on the level of staff discipline within the Secretariat during the first week of July, presented by the Financial and Administrative Department. The report indicated a high level of commitment, improved workflow, and enhanced performance efficiency.
Furthermore, the meeting delved into various developments on the southern national scene, including the potential negative repercussions of suspending or stalling central bank decisions.
The Secretariat reviewed the weekly activity report of its departments, in addition to approving the minutes of the previous meeting, after incorporating the remarks raised.
