President Al-Zubaidi Gets Briefed on Workflow at the Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Ministry

President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Vice President of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), met today, Thursday, at his office in the capital, Aden, with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates (FAE) Dr. Shaea al-Zandani.

At the beginning of the meeting, President Al-Zubaidi congratulated Dr. al-Zandani on gaining confidence and being appointed Minister of the FAE. His Excellency was then briefed about the progress of work in the ministry, its offices in the governorates, the status of embassies, consulates, and attachés in brotherly and friendly countries, the conditions of citizens abroad, and the ministry's plans and programs to enhance diplomatic and consular work.

President Al-Zubaidi also listened to a brief explanation from the Minister of Foreign Affairs about his participation in the 15th Islamic Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, which was held in the Gambian capital, Banjul, from May 4 to 5, and the results of the meetings that he held with his counterparts from participating countries on the sidelines of the summit.

President Al-Zubaidi affirmed his support for Minister Al-Zandani and his efforts to develop administrative and diplomatic performance and provide the best consular services to citizens both at home and abroad, wishing him all success and fulfillment in his new national duties.
