STC Secretariat Discusses Workflow of Coordination Body at Abyan University and Lauds its Performance

Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, headed today, Monday, the regular meeting of the Administrative Body (AB) of the Assembly.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by his deputy, Mr. Issam Abdo Ali, the AB extended congratulations to President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, and to the steadfast and struggling people of the South on the occasion of the seventh anniversary of the historic Aden Declaration (HAD) on May 4, 2017, and the founding of the STC on May 11, 2017. The AB affirmed its adherence to the contents of the HAD, foremost of which is the unrelenting struggle to restore the state of the South with full sovereignty within the pre-May 22, 1990 borders and the popular mandate of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces.
The AB then listened to a report presented by the head of the Political Committee, Lawyer Ramzi Al-Shuaibi, in which he reviewed the latest developments and issues related to the current political situation, in addition to a range of issues related to the living conditions of citizens. In this regard, the AB stressed the need to strengthen Southern cohesiveness at this historic moment and the work of the STC in all its bodies among society as a national duty on the leadership and members.
The body also reviewed a special report on the conditions of teachers and the workflow of the educational process in the governorates of the South, stressing the necessity for continuity of the education process and making the utmost efforts by the relevant authorities to improve the conditions of teachers and pay their dues in full.
At the end of its meeting, the body touched on a range of topics and issues on its agenda and took the appropriate measures thereon.
