The STC Presidium Calls on PLC for Firm and Decisive Measures to End Tampering with Services File

 

The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Tuesday, chaired by Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the STC and Chairman of the National Assembly.

During the meeting, which was attended by the heads of the auxiliary bodies, the Presidium reviewed the developments in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the governorates of the South, as well as the ongoing suffering of citizens due to the deterioration of services, especially electricity and water services. The Presidium asserted that there are clear signs of government failure in managing the services file, which began to appear with the onset of the current summer, stressing the need for the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) to take firm and decisive measures to end the ongoing tampering with this file and curb the forces that are trying to exploit the suffering of citizens for political blackmail.
