STC Presidium Warns Against Continued Unilateral Measures and Worsening the Situation by Government Officials

The Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting today, Thursday, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC's Presidium and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.

In the beginning of its meeting, the Presidium stood before a report on the political scene, submitted by the Political Department of the General Secretariat, and in this regard, they confirmed the cohesiveness of the southern ranks and the solidity of the Southern Armed Forces that have been failing all the hatched conspiracies aimed at targeting the gains of the people of the South, and desperate attempts to divert their direction in the unrelenting struggle to restore their state.

Furthermore, the Presidium confirmed that the Houthi-Brotherhood liaison, which has reached its peak recently through coordination of political plans and escalation acts on the fronts that simultaneously coincide with attempts to sprout up political components, create economic and service crises, and disinformation media campaigns to distort the positions of the STC and its leaders, is the clear crystal evidence of the correctness of the STC’s orientations and its path of struggle to achieve the aspirations of the people of the South to restore their state with its full sovereignty.

In another context, the Presidium stood against the continued unilateral measures by certain officials in the government in an attempt to push the situation towards further aggravation, reiterating in the context the STC’s rejection of any unilateral measures or attempts at escalation and affirming its commitment to calm, which ensures the official brothers in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to advance the peace process to reach a comprehensive solution under the auspices of the United Nations.

During the meeting, the Presidium reviewed and approved the minutes of its previous meeting. In addition to discussing a range of organizational topics and issues related to the work of the STC's bodies, and took the appropriate measures.
