Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, witnessed on Wednesday the military parade carried out by the Security Belt Forces (SBF) in the capital, Aden, launching its training and operational and moral preparation for the year 2024.
In a speech he delivered during the inauguration, which was attended by Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Al-Kathiri conveyed to the officers and soldiers of the SBF in the capital, Aden, the greetings of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, and Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, commending the great work and effort exerted to train and qualify forces in all sectors.
In addressing the command and personnel of the SBF, Al-Kathiri added, “Indeed, we are sticking to the pledge, and we are confident in you to achieve victory and secure restoring the stats,” praising the dedication of the heroes of the SBF in the capital, Aden, and their sincerity and loyalty, which actually contributed to the victory for the homeland and deterring its lurking enemies.
For his part, the Minister of State and Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Lamlas, praised the efforts exerted in training and qualifying the forces in the SBF, pointing out that the parade he has seen today at the inauguration of the training year makes everyone feel proud and is a good indicator that the future is better.
Governor Lamlas stressed that achieving development requires stability and security, for which we must appreciate the ultimate sacrifices of the martyrs and the wounded, who are among you and in you, so that we can all work to protect, stabilize, and develop the capital.
In his speech, the Staff of the SBF and Commander of the Aden Belt, Brigadier General Jalal Al-Rubaie, said that this new year is the year of training and qualification, adding that nations are built by preparing well-educated, well-cultured, and well-trained members.
Al-Rubaie pointed out that this year will witness a qualitative shift in various aspects, and security work will move to a better level in organization, integration, coordination, and the completion of the development of specialized security units and their personnel.
Al-Rubaie thanked the political and military leadership, represented by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, and Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, Governor of the capital, Aden, for their efforts and great support.
The military parade highlighted the level of physical capabilities and combat skills of members of the SBF in the capital, Aden, and their high readiness to carry out the assigned tasks with all efficiency and effectiveness.
