STC Secretariat Gives Directives to LLEBs to Commemorate Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance Day

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, and was chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC's Presidium and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat.

The meeting discussed suggestions and arrangements to commemorate the 18th anniversary of Southern Reconciliation and Tolerance Day. In this regard, the Secretariat directed the local leadership executive bodies (LLEBs) of the STC in all the governorates of the South to start the arrangements for this great event under the slogan “The South for and by all its People," which will be launched on the 13th of January, calling on the people of the South to actively participate and commemorate this momentous occasion in the contemporary history of the South and its people.

Furthermore, the meeting reviewed a report on the political scene in the southern national arena during the past two weeks, and the most prominent developments in the situation at its various levels.

The meeting reviewed the weekly activity report of departments of the Secretariat and the tasks carried out during the aforementioned period in their various fields. In addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
