STC's Secretariat Applauds Well-Organized Mass Rallies Celebrated 56th Anniversary of Independence Day in Governorates of the South

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC's Presidium and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat, and in the presence of Mr. Abdo Ali Al-Naqeeb, Assistant Secretary-General.

In the beginning of the meeting, they stood a tributing minute to read Al-Fatihah for the soul of the heroic martyr, Jaafar Mohammad Saad, the former governor of the capital, Aden, on the eighth anniversary of his martyrdom, who was murdered by terrorism as a result of his sincere patriotic stance in defending the South and the rights of its people.


The General Secretariat lauded the well-organized and well-attended events of the 56th anniversary of Independence Day on November 30, which were organized by local leadership executive bodies of the STC in the governorates and districts of the South, as well as the grand mass participation of the people of the South, which indicates their determination and steadfastness to continue the unrelenting struggle for freedom and independence and restore the state of the South with its full sovereignty.

Furthermore, a job discipline report was reviewed for the staff of the General Secretariat during the month of November, submitted by the Administrative and Financial Department, aiming at enhancing the work and improving the performance of the staff in the Secretariat, as the recommendations presented were approved and the appropriate measures were taken to achieve them.

The meeting discussed a range of topics and issues related to southern affairs, including the economic conditions experienced in the governorates of the South, and a number of suggestions were raised in this regard.

The meeting reviewed and approved its previous minutes, as well as the activity report of departments of the secretariat during the past week.
