Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, Acting President of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) and Chairman of the National Assembly, commended the level of achievement and remarkable development in the performance of the Security Belt forces (SBF) in the capital, Aden, and the neighboring governorates, and their effective role in maintaining security, stability, and public tranquility.
This came during his meeting with Brigadier General Mohsen Al-Wali, Commander of the Security Belt Forces, today, Monday, in his office in the capital, Aden, in the presence of Brigadier General Ali Al-Jabwani, a member of the STC's Presidium, where he was briefed on the security situation in the capital, Aden, and the rest of the governorates in which the Security Belt Forces are present on the ground, and the role of the Security Belt in combating terrorism, drugs, and crime in all its forms, and tracking down out of law and order, and his efforts to control security checkpoints at the entrances to cities and combat smuggling, and to secure and protect government facilities and institutions, and his efforts to raise the level of performance of individuals and commanders and enhance their capabilities.
The Acting President of the STC commended the great efforts exerted by the Security Belt Forces in protecting service and vital facilities in the capital, Aden, and the level of discipline and readiness among its personnel, noting that the STC, led by President Aidarous Al-Zoubaidi, Supreme Commander of the Southern Armed Forces, highly appreciates the role of the Security Belt Forces and security efforts to consolidate the foundations of security and stability in the capital, Aden, and its neighboring governorates.
